Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Josai University is uniquely composed of three departments—School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Department of Clinical Dietetics and Human Nutrition—training future nutritionists, pharmacists, and pharmaceutical scientists.

Since its founding in 1973, the faculty has leveraged broad expertise and robust research capabilities to engage in collaborative research with a wide range of companies in the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a faculty of highly specialized experts, we provide strong support for solving corporate challenges and creating new business opportunities.

The Instrumental Analysis Center supports corporate research, development, and quality evaluation with advanced technology and state-of-the-art analytical instruments,including NMR, mass spectrometry, X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, and fluorescence imaging.

We serve a wide range of fields—pharmaceuticals, food, chemistry, and environment—and offer flexible, expert support for joint research and contract analysis.

We partner with companies in pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, and chemistry to promote evidence-based R&D.

One example is our joint research with ACRO Inc., which operates the lifestyle brand THREE.
In partnership with Laboratory of Natural Products and Phytochemistry and Laboratory of Pharmacognosy, the company explores the functionality and quality of essential oils and plant-derived ingredients through scientific analysis.

The results contribute to product development and academic research, creating new value for both industry and academia.
