Features of the Plant Extract Library

Plants, primarily wild plants from within Japan, were collected, extracts were prepared, and methanol extracts were distributed in DMSO solution (filtered with a sterile filter; concentration uniformly 40 mg/mL). Accurate plant identification was performed, and the collection location and time were recorded. Domestically distributed crude drugs (model crude drugs) and herbal medicine extracts are also included. Ferns deemed useful for research and development were collected with particular emphasis.
